Why are all your logos displayed in black and white?
Until we know more about your venture, we don't like to make assumptions. Once we collaborate to build a strategy we will start to determine development of the brand story, though we will question firstly - is this brand the most appropriate?
We love one of your logos, can I select an alternative name?
Absolutely! We have posed these identities as a starting point, something to spark your interest and our creativity. We however suggest we help you consider the bigger picture to determine the most appropriate brand and identity for your venture.
I already have a domain, can we use one of your logos?
Yes by negotiation of course. We're proud of our work and want it out there so we can all feel the success.
Is it important that I have the .com.au domain?
There are a number of domain extensions becoming available, in most cases the public does not yet understand 'brand.sexy' is actually a web address. The .com or .com.au extensions elicit a belief the business has been long established, thus are considered a premium in the market.
Everytime I search a domain it's parked, why?
Unlike you a "go getter", some people have an idea they hope to get around to one day and secure a domain early. Others might secure a domain to create an ad site where they earn money from the clicks. We secure domains to ensure they are available to you, our client!
Do you offer related names as a suite?
Absolutely! We are big believers in brand protection, such that some brands in our portfolio will only be offered as a suite where a forseen conflict of their use could impact on our client's long term protection.
What is your one key advice on choosing a name?
There are numerous factors and influences upon a brand's success. To give any venture the best start we would most often suggest a name be short, industry relative, contain keywords and most importantly - be easy to recall. Clever and catchy can also work!
I'm launching a product, can you help find a domain?
It's obvious we are expert at pin pointing industry appropriate and available product names. With some insight into your product our creatives will think tank appropriate names and shortlist those that are available with limited possible trademark conflicts.
Can my brand be trademarked?
Before releasing any branded domain we apply for a preliminary trademark assessment to determine if there are any glaring conflicts. Some brands may not actually be appropriate to trademark given their use in common language ie: New Homes.

As a brand consultancy many of our clients are start-ups. We share your excitement and bring lots of enthusiasm, we can certainly consider terms to get started and share your success!
Do we need to engage BUILT for all services?
